2-Day Sexual Violence Victim Advocate Training - Forsyth

Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC), 1000 Indian Springs Drive, Learning Resource Center, Forsyth, GA 30329
This free introductory training will provide participants with knowledge, skills, and abilities to address:
- What is sexual assault advocacy/counseling
- Realities of sexual assault, impact of sexual assault
- Procedures in common advocacy situations
- Recovery education and skills training
- Compassion, fatigue, and self-care

Please note that victim advocates have first priority in registering for this training. All others are welcome as space permits.
