16 hours POST Credit Available (Must attend full 16 hour class in order to receive POST credits)

Please note that attendance is required at both days of the training for all attendees

 

"Advanced Sexual Assault Investigations"

This training is aimed at enhancing the skills of
investigators assigned to sexual assault crimes.

 

Topics addressed will include:
  1. Lead development in sexual assault cases
  2. Interview of the victim
  3. Interview of the suspect
  4. Case file development
  5. Courtroom testimony
  6. Evidence assessment:
    1. Identifying "good" evidence
    2. What to require from crime scene investigators
