Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Training

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Georgia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
40 CEs will be awarded after completion of the didactic training course. Additional clinical training is required to complete SANE training.
In order to complete your registration for this class, you will need to FIRST register online (below) and then an email will be sent to you with the following attachments. Once you receive that email, you will need to print, review and submit the following forms (as applicable):

Additional prepwork will be required prior to attending the training class. Information will be emailed to you after you have successfully registered online for this training. Please be sure to use a valid email address when registerering and check this email account regularly for messages from GNESA. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Please note: to ensure timely delivery, please fax or email the required document for training as soon as possible. Please do not wait to register or send in required documents as spaces fill up fast. Registration will close and all paperwork is due by August 15, 2014. No paperwork will be accepted until you have successfully registered online.
Please do not send any SANE paperwork to the Atlanta address.
Deposit is $200 for GA residents or those practicing in the state of Georgia and $300 for all others. Payable via PayPal (PayPal fee may apply) or via money order made payable to GNESA.
The $200 fee (minus any PayPal fees if applicable) will be refunded to GA residents or those practicing in the state of Georgia after completion of the didactic and clinical portions of the training as scheduled. The $300 fee for all others is non-refundable.
If you are interested in becoming a SANE nurse but are unable to pay the $200 deposit at this time, please contact GNESA to discuss your training options.
Please note that GNESA is no longer accepting personal checks. You may submit payment via money order made payable to GNESA or via PayPal (no PayPal account required).
You will not be eligible to attend training until you have registered online and all documents are received by GNESA. Incomplete documents will not be accepted.
*ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND DEPOSITS ARE DUE TO GNESA PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF THE TRAINING. DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED THE DAY OF OR AT THE TRAINING SITE. DOCUMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA FAX OR EMAIL, PROVIDED THAT THEY ARE CLEAR, LEGIBILE AND COMPLETE.
