This free training will provide participants with knowledge, skills, and abilities to address:
What is sexual assault advocacy/counseling
Realities of sexual assault, impact of sexual assault
Procedures in common advocacy situations
Recovery education and skills training
Compassion, fatigue, and self-care

GNESA will cover the cost of the training, however, transportation, lodging and food will be at the attendee's own expense.
*This curiculim requires attendance of the full 16 hours of the training. CEs are not available but attendance certificates will be given to everyone that attends the entire training class.
Please note that attendance is required at both days of the training for all attendees
